Our group is a bunch of amateur wine enthusiasts whose goal is to get interesting wineries to provide us with "virtual" wine tastings. What's a virtual wine tasting? It's where participants of the "virtual tasting" buy wines selected (by the vintner) in advance and then join a live broadcast or webinar where the vintner from the winery explains a bit of its history, what makes them special, perhaps shows some pictures, and then walks everyone through a real tasting. Not like visiting the winery in person, but a whole lot cheaper. And still fun. Doing this with friends around a nice dinner makes for an even more enjoyable evening. So JOIN our group if you'd like.
