Many states hold the drinking establishment responsible for drunk drivers.  That is wrong.

Labor Day is a big drinking holiday for big drinkers.  Actually, any excuse to get drunk for those slugs of humanity.   In another blog (http://goo.gl/qHnlY) I wrote about those who drink and drive.  Do not mistake this blog as one that excuses excess drinking or drinking and driving.  I do no such thing.

My purpose here is to point out that the sole responsibility for deaths, injuries, and damages as a result of drinking and driving lies with the drinker/driver.  No one else.  Unless the drinker were held down and the bartender forced booze down the throat of a patron, the responsiblity is solely the driver's.

It's not the restaurant that made you fat, and it is not the bartender who made you drunk.  You did.
