Group Profile

We started this group for three reasons. First, we’re amazed at how unbalanced reporting is on Blackwater (Xe) -- by the way, none of the founders of this group work for Blackwater directly or indirectly and never have. Second, living in Tidewater we know people that work there. They don’t have second heads, breathe fire and plot to over throw the world. In fact, across the board they seem to be dedicated, genuine people who believe in a value system that cherishes the notion of “service” and are willing to put themselves in harms way. They’d seem to have earned the right to more than knee jerk vilification. And third, Blackwater is important to our 757 community. If they do wrong they should be held accountable. But other perspectives deserve to be heard. We see this group as an opportunity for voices other than those parroting the prescribed media line to be heard. Our goal is to collect FACTS, truths and other opinions so our community and others around the US have a balanced viewpo
