Lounging on the beach! We try to keep it to the beaches the tourists aren't frequenting.

A close second is grilling yummy dinners and enjoying an adult beverage with family and friends in the back yard.

Without a doubt, for me, there are really four things that are the top activities, and they are things my family and I do all the time. Going fishing/boating, going to the beach, grilling out on the deck and entertaining and playing tennis.

Reading good books and yard work are also things that are frequent activities in the summer, but not the "best" for me.
