The Naro Expanded Video now has over 30,000 titles in all categories, on DVD and Blu-Ray. We accession around forty titles per week, from new releases to foreign, classic, and cult. Our categories are spread throughout the store, and our knowledgable staff members know something about just about everything we have; each is a specialist in one or two categories. For instance, Tim Cooper, owner and general schmoozer found on the floor as often as behind the counter, is committed to Film Noir, and Linda McGreevy, the other owner, whose teaching career at Old Dominion University keeps her being in from the store most of the time, keeps the Art section current and substantial.
We do change the categories at times. Most recently, we added a section to cult called "4:20," after a lot of "discussion" that included other suggestions like "Stoners." Members will often see--and participate in--these lengthy and passionate "discussions," which is part of the fun in going to the Naro Video. We're opinionated.
