"King of Thieves" (2004)
Two kids from a poor Ukrainian village are sold to a circus artist promising them a lucrative future. He smuggles them into Germany where he trains the young boy Barbu to be a thief while his sister is sold into prostitution. Realizing his dreams are shattered, Barbu fights his situation and vows to rescue his sister. "King of Thieves" is a riveting dramatic adventure.
"Red without Blue" (2007)
This truly fascinating documentary is about a pair of identical twins who struggle with their queer identity. One emerges as a young gay man, while the other transitions from male to female.
